  1. I read the article. It’s saying something I’ve been thinking for a long time. The Gospel is not merely information needs to be told to as many people as possible (That is part of it), but it’s a saving relationship with Christ that we tell with our months as well as our lives.

The bible says a couple of things that I think relate to evangelism. One is that “They will know you are my disciples if you love one another.” That doesn’t mean we won’t have conflict, but we should always consider the other person and treat them with respect caring for them. Two, is good works “Shine your light before men that they may see your good works and praise the Lord” (My paraphrase). We should be helping those around us, through the church and individually.

I think the church has focused too much on passing tracts about the Gospel that most people around know the basics of and less on being Godly men and women that a nonChristian wouldn’t mind hanging out with. The momentum isn’t shifting anytime soon though. I think few people have identifies the real problem behind the exodus from Churches.
